They came upon our world in the chariots. The first of many to come, but none were ever as ruthless and cruel as them. We called them skydemons. We thought them fallen gods sent to punish us because nothing we had ever experienced taught us that beings as mortal as ourselves were capable of such unspeakable things. They turned our women and our daughters into chattel. Our sons became laborers and came to manhood hauling ore and soot, their bodies broken and their youth lost in the vagrant mines. They crucified our fathers and defiled our temples. Tore the bedrock from our continents and stole our precious treasures to fuel their machines. And still they want more. Until our world is used up completely and our numbers exhausted. Until the world of the Nali becomes a desolate shell where no life can spring and no water can flow.

Skytown Redux is a prelude to Seven Bullets. In this one map episode you take up the mantle of Lt. Jones. Na Pali is a different place since the chaos caused by Prisoner 849. You, as Jones, are caught in the midst of a savage civil dispute in an attempt to carry out a sabotage mission.Your target? The fabeled Skytown from Unreal, degraded by time.

Lt. Jones Jones was selected for Operation Nali Freedom for both his outstanding record with USM in the twelve years following the Xidia Incident and his unmatched battle experience with the Skaarj. Equipped with standard USM gear, Jones is dispatched onto one of the primary skyhavens floating in the atmosphere of Na Pali. His mission is simple: Eradicate the enemy and use the Skaarj Electro Magnetic Pulse weapon against their outpost in the ISV-Kran.

The Bishop Responsible for the organization and strategic deployment of Nali forces, the Bishop leads the Vandora Gaurd in battle against Skaarj forces.

Vandora Gaurd The benevolent native inhabitants of Na Pali were devestated for centures by the invading Skaarj. After years of persecution the Nali people began to strike back as feebly as they possibly could; causing mechanical breakdowns in slave mine equipment or hording weapons for other marooned enemies of the Skaarj to find and use against their captors. Despite their efforts, the Skaarj continued to rule with an iron fist. Nali were slaughtered in the hundreds for a single act of disobediance. From the ashes of the Na Pali badlands, a figure emerged, A powerful Nali elder with a body of marked with scars. These weren't scars of punishment, these were scars of battle. Little is known about the Bishop's origins, but it is known that this follower of the prophet Haute was able to do what no Nali seemed capable of doing on their own; Engage the Skaarj in combat. Rumors persisted across the Na Pali slave populace of a warrior of their own ranks who led rebellious raids on outposts, taking back regions secured by the Skaarj. Through time, the Bishop had  assembled a small army of Nali revolutionaries. Led by the Bishop, the Vandora Gaurd have been fighting Skaarj forces in the SKytown area as Jones touches down for his mission.
